HKS Fine-Tune Timing Belt for Subaru EJ20 EJ25
The HKS Belt Upgrade Timing Belt is designed for Subaru Impreza models fitted with EJ20 and EJ25 engines. It is particularly suited for use with HKS adjustable cam pulleys in high-power and high-RPM applications.
The belt is engineered to maintain stable tension as engine temperatures rise, helping support accurate camshaft timing under demanding road, track and tuned-engine conditions.

Balancer Belt Replacement
A balancer shaft is designed to reduce engine vibration by producing an opposing vibration. During sustained high-RPM use, such as circuit driving, the balancer system is placed under increased load.
Because the balancer may rotate faster than the crankshaft, its belt can stretch more quickly than other engine belts. Excessive stretch may cause the balancer timing to move out of synchronisation with the crankshaft, resulting in increased vibration.
Where applicable, HKS recommends replacing the balancer belt with a strengthened upgrade at the same time as the timing belt.
